Hi, I'm Alicia Blackbourne - an artist, animal lover, and the hands and heart behind Ark Canvas. 

For as long as I can remember, animals have been a source of comfort, joy, and connection in my life. My art grew from that love - first as a quiet hobby, then as a passion, and now as a meaningful way to help others honor the animals they hold dear. 

I work with colored pencils and soft pastels, carefully layering each stroke to bring out the life, expression, and soul of every subject. Whether it's a loyal dog, a curious cat, or a wild creature full of spirit, I strive to create more than just a portrait - I aim to create a timeless keepsake that holds emotions, memory, and love.
